-Dawnblaze munched on her field mouse, and went out to kill another-
She found one nearby, and pounced, killing it instantly.
-She trotted over to Thunderstar's den, dropped in the mouse, and
galloped away.
Soon, she realized, she'd be 19 moons in the next 3 days.
She shrugged off the thought.
Nobody had ever remembered all these years.. Why would they now?
Suddenly, she heard dogs baying in the distance.
She raised her hackles and sniffed deeply.
They were coming this way, and.. She wrinkled her nose in disgust.
A HUMAN was with them.. (Ack, humans. Their all the same..)
She snarled to herself. She had been abused by her owner
when she was just a kit, and wasn't fond of ANY human.

Thunderstar ate the mouse that had been dropped off in his den. He knew it came from Dawnblaze. He thought to him self "She's just wonderfull" almost smiling to himself. He padded out of his den and took a big whiff of the air, and he smelt humans. He muttered to him self a little and sent out a partol to look around.

Dawnblaze followed her nose, and walked right into a
camp. She looked quickly around, and saw the dogs sleeping.
Suddenly, her eyes fell upon 2 big bags of dead rabbits.
Her stomach growled. She made sure the human was asleep in his tent,
and snuck to the bags. She took one and bolted off.
The dogs sleepily opened their eyes, but with swift thinking,
Dawnblaze clawed at their eyes, and they went the opposite direction, yowling.
She sprinted, almost home, when a bullet hit her side,
(Oh no you don't!) The human said, putting down his gun,
he came closer to her. She hissed weakly.

Thunderstar herd the bang. He raced to out the camp to see what was. He sniffed a little and followed his nose. He saw Dawnblaze lying on the ground and blood gashing from her side. He hissed at the human next to her, and he attcked it. He howled for back up when he saw the partrol. He tried getting the human away from Dawnblaze by yelling at the patrol to distract them. One cat got into the other bag but the human by Dawnblaze picked up his gun and tried to shoot but nothing came out. He ran into his tent to look for bullets. Thunderstar and the Med cat raced to Dawnblazes side. He licked her wound as the Med cat told him to. Thunderstar said to Dawnblaze. "Can you hear me? Are you awake? Can you walk?"

Thunderstar told the others to follow and fast. Everyone shot out of the human camp like a bullet and back to their own. Thunderstar ran up to Dawnblaze.
"You should see the medican cat about that wound before it gets infected."
He said to her licking her ear as they walked.

She went back home in silence, then stopped by the Med. to get her wound healed.

Thunderstar walked over to his den for yet again, another nap. Hoping nothing else would happen.

After her wound healed, she walked back to her den,
but accidentally walked into Thunderstar's.
She curled up on top of him, thinking it was a big, fluffy pillow (xD)
and fell asleep soundly.

Thunderstar felt a lump ontop of him. It smelt like Dawnblaze. He looked up and saw her fur on him. He just sighed and fell asleep.

Dawnblaze woke up and stretched under her pillow, and got up.
She walked out and felt leaves under her paws.
"Fall's coming". She thought to herself, and sighed.
2 days from her birthday.
She angrily shook the thought away.
Who would care?

Thunderstar woke up to the sound of the birds in the trees. He walked out of his den and saw Dawnblaze. He walked up to her,
"You were sleeping on me last night. Did you know that?" He said with a laughing type voice.

Dawnblaze looked at him quizzically, and turned bright red. "You musta been my fluffy pillow then." She said.
She looked in disgust at her reflection in the water. "What are you doing? Blushing in the presence of a leader?"
She thought to herself. She straightened herself up, and looked at Thunderstar. "It won't happen again leader."
And she hurried off into the woods, trying to get as far from him as possible.
Tears stung her eyes as she ran. Why do I need to be weak to love? Nothing should stop me from being the deputy to the fullest.
She thought to herself.

OOC// Cats can't blush o.O They have fur so you can't really see it, and plus they don't know what a pillow is XD Try to be realistic please.

BIC// Thunderstar shurgged. He padded over to the fresh kill pile, picked up a few mice and went to the elders to feed them.

Moonpaw stooped.
He had heard the whole conversation.
'Dawn likes Thunder! Dawn likes Thunder!' he thought with a smile.
Soon the smile faded, he remembered that Dawnblaze had tears rolling down her face. He padded off to see what was wrong with her.

Dawnblaze looked at her reflection in a small pool,
and saw the ripples the tears were making. "Pathetic". She hissed to
herself. Admire Thunder more than a leader? Bah. Never.
This is life. She thought to herself.
Still... Her heart always felt whole around him.
She shook her head angrily.
"None of those thoughts." She said sternly to herself.

Moonpaw cought up with Dawnblaze.
He crashed into the small pool, splashing water on her.
"Sorry!" he apologized.
"What's wrong, Dawnblaze? Why are you crying?"

Dawn chuckled quietly, and carried the kit out the pool.
What're you doing here Moonpaw? Its really early..
She said sternly, but her eyes were full of love for the little kit.
"I.. Nothing, its nothing. Really". She assured him.

Any other kit, she would of punished them, but it
was Moonpaw.. The bravest of them all.
She sighed.
Just been a tough day. She moaned.
And.. Too comfortable sleeping.
She sighed again, and stretched.

Moonpaw gave up. Obviously, she wasn't going to spill.
"Well, if it's about that whole 'love' mumbo jumbo," he started. "I always wish I could find a mate too, yah know. But I'm a kit so I have to wait. Bla."
He chuckled. Moonpaw gaped into the small pool.
"You see that, Dawnblaze? You see that cat in the water? The ginger fur one. Yep, her. She's the one I look up to all the time. She's the deputy. I admire her more than anyone else. Remember that." He murmured and trotted off.

Dawnblaze gave him a quick lick to the ear, and trotted with him,
smiling.
Then she stopped dead in her tracks. Her eyes turned black.
"I haven't found my mate yet, and I never will Moonpaw."
Then, she trotted away, to what she thought was Thunderstar's den.
Inside, she saw her friend, Stargazer, and a male called Thunderbolt
licking each other. He looked so much like Thunder, she thought it was him.
Her eyes filled with tears, and her hind legs felt wobbly.
With tears in her eyes, she bolted back to her den, and buried
herslelf in leaves.
"How could he..?" She yelled angrily to herself.
"Wait.. HOW COULD I?" She said louder.
"Fool. Love isn't your destiny." She snarled to herself.
