Risingpaw crouched down, and snuck toward the vole, keeping low. When it was in sight, he sprang silently, and killed it with one swift blow. Risingpaw padded back to Duskheart with the fresh-kill.

"Well done," Duskheart praised.
"Catch as many prey as you can, until I signal you to stop."
Duskheart sat with his tail curling over his paws.

Risingpaw nodded, tasted the air, and ran off.

Rainpelt padded into the den, with herbs in his mouth. "If this doesn't work, Crystalpool, "he warned, "You'll have to be a medicine cat. You are too young to be an elder, and your leg cannot help with your warrior duties." Rainpelt began to work.

Risingpaw dropped three pieces off fresh-kill by Duskheart, and ran off again.

"Good," Duskheart called after him. "But we should go back to camp."
He picked up a piece of fresh kill and signaled Risingpaw to get the rest.
Duskheart padded back to LunarClan.

Risingpaw nodded, and picked up the rest, and scrambled after Duskheart.

Crystalpool closed her eyes.

Idc, rly what it is...

As soon as Duskheart entered camp he trotted to the Highrock.
"LunarClan, to the clearing!" he called.
"Coldstar is with his apprentice, so he asked me to do this ceremony for him.
Risingpaw, please come in front of the Highrock."
Duskheart waited for a reaction on the cat's face.

Risingpaw's feet tingled with excitement. He padded over to the highrock, and glanced over to see Crystalpool padding out of the warrior's den. She smiled and sat down. The pain in her leg seemed to be gone.

"From this day foward, Risingpaw, your new name is Risingstorm."
Duskheart finished.
He heard the Clan chant his name.
"Tonight you will have your vigil," Duskheart reminded the
young warrior.

Coldstar walked up to his deputy, his jaws with fresh-kill. "Thank you, Duskheart." He said, with a mouthful of squirrel and mice.

Risingstorm bowed his head, and padded over to his position in the middle of camp. His fur tingled with excetment, and he gave his chest a swift lick.

Crystalpool stretched out her leg. She was glad when Rainpelt announced she could still be a warrior, and she gave Duskheart a cheerful look.

Duskheart nodded to Coldstar.
He loped quietly to the warrior's den.

Coldstar took a thrush for himself. He only took a bite of it. He went into his den and lay there, restless. He started coughing.

Crystalpool's ears pricked up. She had heard coughing from Coldstar's den. She padded over. "Coldstar," she called, "Coldstar, are you all right? Shall I fetch Rainpelt?"

Risingstorm's eyes closed, and he sighed. He was too excited to sit vigil, but he had to.

"Please, Crystalpool." He said, as his voice faded.

Duskheart trotted through Coldstar's den.
"Coldstar, if there's something wrong, you must tell us."
He insisted, looking with worry at the leader.

"I went near the river today, and smelt a faint smell. it smelled like.." he coughed again, then went on. ".. Green cough."

Crystalpool's eyes widened, and she glanced at Duskheart. "I'll get Rainpelt." she whispered, and slunk away.

Crystalpool and Rainpelt returned. Rainpelt had herbs with him, and looked at Coldstar over and over.

Coldstar looked at Rainpelt with sad, green eyes. He coughed more and more, everytime it got worse and worse.

Duskheart had worries in his eyes.
He watched Coldstar carefully.

Coldstar lay there, silent. He was with starclan, preparing for his 2nd life.

"Coldstar!" Duskheart blurted out.
He knew what was happening, he just
didn't know how many lives Coldstar had.

"I have lost a life," He said, gasping for air.

Crystalpool looked at Coldstar with sad eyes. "Are you feeling any better?" she asked, as Rainpelt scurried away to fetch more herbs.

"Honestly, no." He said, looking at Crystalpool.

Rainpelt padded in. "Well,these will." he meowed, holding some strange herbs. He set them down, and nudged them to Coldstar. Crystalpool stared at the strange plant, which she had never seen before.
